Bunny Butt

I found some rabbit tracks in the snow the other day, and there was one track in particular that showed where the rabbit had been sitting in the snow. There were fluff marks and everything. It was so funny imagining the rabbit sitting there. =)

Again, I neglected to post here for a long time! Doh! I'm not good at journaling in real life, either. Well, there's something about that spring smell in the air that I talked about last time, that makes me want to work on my websites and such. The smell left the air for a long time and it was terribly cold outside, but now it's 60 degrees out and everything's melting. There's a huge puddle in the front yard!

We got some new fish at petco the other day. We don't trust petco for their regular fish that are kept in tanks, because they use the same net for all the fish, but we sometimes get bettas there because they are kept in individual cups. We got a male, who we named Elijah, and three females, Miss Rose, Lady Liberty, and Baby Blu. Here are some pics for you to enjoy:

Here's Elijah. He's a beautiful flame red betta splendens. He lives in the
tank that Indigo Blu used to live in. Sadly, Blu passed away on Christmas day, December 25, 2006.

Here are the three girls. (from left to right, Baby Blu, Miss Rose, and Lady Liberty) They make a nice sorority and get along well with the existing zebra fish and cories in their tank. Rose and Liberty and always fighting to be the top fish, but they don't hurt each other. Baby Blu, being the smallest, just gets ignored and can explore the tank without being bothered.
By the way, when I say "we" did something or "we" think something, I'm not being skitzo. I'm talking about several members of my family. =)
Well, that's all for now! I'll post some pics of the other pets soon. I bid you all a good end of winter/beginning of spring! =)
God Bless,
Emily/GodsGal

Sorry for the away time!

I'm very sorry for all the away time! In the rest of 2006 I was busy with many other projects and basically forgot about this blog. Hopefully in 2007 I will remember to stay with this place.

Today was like summer. It's January 7 in New England, and it should be freezing. But today it was 70 degrees out, and the air smelled like summer! The smell of summer air makes me happy and gives me energy, so I felt great today, especially considering that for the past week I had the flu.

Sorry this entry has to be so short, but my dad wants me to get off the computer.

See you all later!

God Bless

Bunny.....or no bunny?

We saw a bunny rabbit in the lawn a little while ago! It hopped away into the woods.

If anyone looks in the links section on the sideber they have seen a link to "Little Bunny Fufu Graphics." Well, I have now changed the name, changed the whole thing around, and given it a new URL. The forum is the same for now. Here's the site: http://www.freewebs.com/agapeart

I went to the orthodontist today to get my braces checked.(yes, I have braces)
They gave me these weird little rubber bands that are really annoying. My jaw hurts from sticking my tounge in the band. Oo

Well, that's it for now. I gotta go to the garden.

God Bless,

A turtle on the loose!!!

Earlier today my sister looked out the window, and saw something in the lawn! It looked like a rock, but there had never been a rock there before! I looked out the window, and lo and behold- a turtle. A very large turtle, I might add. We could tell from the shape of it's head that it was a snapping turtle. We went outside to check it out- oh, the exitement! I had never actually seen a snapping turtle before, at least not close enough to actually tell what it was. I sat about two feet away from it, just watching. It was a little freaked out, I suppose I would be too if I were it. I went inside to get the camra, but soon discovered we didn't have film, so I went back outside to study it. I soon remembered my drawing supplies, so I went back in to get them. After about five minutes, I had a nice-looking picture of a snapping turte. I will post it here as soon as possible. The thing about the turtle that impressed me was its long tail- I never realised that snapping turtles had long tails. I immediately paired it up with a dinosaur in my mind. It had razor-sharp scales all the way down the back of its tail. it also has long claws on its stubby toes. It had a sharp hook on the tip of its "beak," too- a very nice-looking specimen indeed. I made sure not to touch it, as turtles can cary bacteria such as salmonella, but also becuase of that sharp "beak!" Soon after I got my picture drawn, the turtle ran away. Well, as fast as a turtle can run- if you even consider it running. Within a few minutes it had hobbled off into the woods. What an encounter! I wish I has gotten photos, but, as I said, we were out of film.

The internet connection is down, so I'm posting this from my email program. I don't expect it to actually go through until the connection is back up, but at least it gives me something to do.

By the way, check out my other blog- http://dragonsinthebible2.blogspot.com . I updated it just a few minutes ago. I hope you will join me in my quest to find evidence of dragons existing! Well, even if you don't agree, I don't mind. It's just interesting to me, it seems like there are conspiracies on the networks like discovery, I forget exactly where I saw this one, but they had something called "Quest for Dragons," where they were talking about what people think about dragons, making it look like they were actually trying to find them, but then at the end they started talking about how dragons weren't real, even after all that evidence they found. It's kind of funny, when you think about it!

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot, it's Friday, June 2, 06, 5:06 PM, 80 degrees, and cloudy outside.

Well, that's all I have to say for now, expect me to update soon, but until then, goodnight and God bless you all!

Saturday!

11:31, Saturday, May 27, 06.

It's 85 degrees F outside, and 75 inside(according to the thermostat, but I think it's much hotter :'-) )

My mom and grandmother just got back from a trip downtown. They brought home a book that my younger brother is excited about, and *yum* picnic food! Ice cream sandwiches and watermelon. The perfect hot day foods.

The temp in the fishtanks was up very high last night. We're not used to having fishtanks in hot weather. If you were a fish, would you like your tank to be 84 degrees? I don't think so. We're going to have to close all the windows and turn on the AC today, because the temp was still up pretty high this morning even before we put on their lights. Poor cats, they won't like it. They love to sit in the windows. :P

It's dark out.....

It's 8:36 PM on Friday. It's dark out. :(

I worked in the garden today. There were chipmunks
chattering away at us from a nearby tree as we dug
the raised beds. :D We saw two chipmunks running
across the fence, seems like we've been visited by
Chip and Dale!

Yesterday while walking the dog I saw something
hopping down by the garden. I went down to the
fence to check it out. I saw a large rabbit hopping
around the inside of the garden fence, the fence
that was supposed to be rabbit-proof. It looked
very distressed, and it was hopping around frantic-
ally, smashing into the fenceposts trying to escape.
I thought that maybe I should go back up to the
house and tell my mother about it and ask her
what to do, but then I remembered the gate.
I opened it up and backed off to let the rabbit escape.
The rabbit would not come towards the gate, since
it saw me, and more frighening, *gasp* a dog!
After a few seconds it bashed into a corner and
somehow escaped through a hole in the fence.
I checked out the exit point - lo and behold,
there was a huge gap in the mesh fencing material.
That must have also been the point of entrance,
too. Well, there's one more thing to do, fix the
fence! Poor rabbit, must've been scared half to death.

One last thought......what would happen if you got
scared half to death twice? O_o *chuckle*

I bid you adue for now,

God bless,

-GodsGal
